Q: HOW CAN I CHECK THE STATUS OF MY ORDER

Q: HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY PRODUCTS? 

 

A: Please know that we are working hard for you to get your items. Delays may occur due to holidays, sales, stock shortages or technical issues. Please allow up to 1-5 business days for order processing before shipping, however, most orders ship within 1-2 business days. Orders are shipped based on place in the order queue.

 

Q: WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE OF YOUR PRODUCTS?

 

A: 1-3 years. However, shelf life can be shortened or lengthened depending on the storage conditions. Please store your Moringa & Spinach Hair Growth & Scalp Food in a cool dry place. This will help it maintain its stiff consistency. Refrigeration is not necessary for our other products although they should be stored in a cool dry place.

 

Q: DO YOU USE PRE-MADE BASES?

 

A: Our products are developed and made using proprietary custom formulas.

 

Q: CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?

 

A: Sorry to hear you want to cancel your order! Please contact info@bethdefinesbeauty.com. We can only cancel orders that have not yet been processed for shipping.

 

Q: HOW DO I TRACK MY ORDER?

Q: HOW DO I RETURN MY ORDER?

 

A: We are sorry to hear that. Please contact us at info@bethdefinesbeauty.com within 5 days of purchase, and we’ll be more than happy to assist!

 

Q: WHAT IF MY ITEM IS DAMAGED UPON RECEIPT?

 

A: Please contact our us at info@bethdefinesbeauty.com. Please be prepared to provide photograph of the damage products and we’ll take it from there.


 

Q: IS OUR SITE SECURE?

 

A: Our secure servers protect your information using advanced encryption and firewall technology throughout the ordering process. Most browsers will show a lock icon in the top status bar on secure pages. Look for this icon on any web page that asks for your personal information. To further ensure your security, we use state of the art SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption to protect your personal information from unauthorized use. View the privacy policy here. Beth Defines Beauty does not store credit card information on our site.


 

Q: ARE YOUR CONTAINERS RECYCLABLE?

 

A: Yes, we do our best to make sure our packaging is as sustainable as possible. All of our jars and bottles are made of recyclable plastics and resins, so when you finish up your Beth Defines Beauty Products products please recycle. 

 

Q: WHERE ARE BETH DEFINES BEAUTY PRODUCTS MADE/MANUFACTURED?

 

A: Beth Defines Beauty products are proudly made in the USA. Our accessories are made in China.


 

Q: WHAT IS THE pH OF YOUR PRODUCTS?

 

A: All of our water containing products have a pH range of 4.0 - 6.5. The pH of our anhydrous products is meaningless as oils do not yield pH values.

 

Q: DO YOU SHIP OVERSEAS?

 

A: We do not ship overseas.

 

Q: ARE YOUR PRODUCTS COLOR SAFE?

 

A: Yes, our products are safe to use on color treated hair.

Q: WHAT IS THE DIFFFERENCE BETWEEN NATURAL AND VEGAN?

 

A: Vegan means that a product contains no animal or animal by-products. Honey and Beeswax, for example, are considered animal by-products and are therefore, not vegan.


 

Q: DO YOUR PRODUCTS CONTAIN NUTS?

 

A: While our formulas do not contain peanuts, which is the biggest allergen in the nut family, one of two of our formulas do contain Almond Oil, which has been used for centuries in curly hair for moisture retention. Please consult your physician prior to use if you are known to have nut allergies.

 

Q: ARE YOUR PRODUCTS CRUELTY-FREE?

 

A: Yes! No animals were harmed in the making of these products. We test all of our products on a panel of people with curly, coily and tightly textured hair perfecting on us humans and never on animals. Our brand is Hand-made All-natural Hair Care Products. 


 

Q: IS BETH DEFINES BEAUTY VEGAN?

 

A: Some of our items contain Honey which is known for its moisturizing properties, so no--not a fully-vegan line.


 

Q: IS BETH DEFINES BEAUTY HAIR PRODUCTS ALL-NATURAL?

 

A: Yes. Our products are Hand-made All-natural inspired by nature.


 

Q: WHY IS THIS PRODUCT LIGHTER/DARKER THAN THE LAST ONE I RECEIVED?

 

A: We do not use artificial dyes or colors in our products. Our products are colored/tinted by the natural herbs and oils we use which may vary from season to season and batch to batch.

 

Q: WHY IS THIS PRODUCT SLIGHTLY THICKER/THINNER THAN THE LAST ONE I RECEIVED?

 

A: Beth Defines Beauty products are made fresh using natural oils, butters and emulsifiers so slight differences in texture from batch to batch may occur. This will not affect performance. A thinner batch will thicken over time as is the nature of certain emulsion systems.


 

Q: WHY ISN’T MY JAR OR BOTTLE FILLED TO THE RIM?

 

A: Most cosmetic containers have a 1oz overflow capacity so expect .5” - 1” of space between the fill level and the top of your container. Our stiff products may shift in their containers creating an air pocket. The presence of an air pocket is not an indication that your bottle or jar was underfilled.


Q: IS YOUR PACKAGING RECYCLABLE?

 

A: Yes, we always try to keep sustainability in mind when bringing new products into the world. Our jars & caps/lids are both fully-recyclable polypropylene (PP), and you don’t even have to separate the cap/lid from the jars/bottles when recycling. Bottles are HDPE or PET, and we use paper components where possible 

 

Q: DO YOU USE SILICONES?

 

A: Beth Defines Beauty products are free of silicones and harmful chemicals. 


 

Q: ARE YOUR PRODUCTS CURRENTLY IN SALON, OTHER ONLINE PLATFORMS, OR STORES?

 

A: Yes. You can find Beth Defines Beauty Hair Products on Amazon.com. We do have our products available in salon for our clients and local customers to pick up their orders. We are currently in the process of getting into beauty supply stores in a city near you!
